I’ve Still Got 99 Problems (But a Panda Aint One!)

My famous “99 Pandas” bag is entering its 99th print run!  I feel like I should do something to celebrate 🙂

Hot in London

The weather has been hovering dangerously close to the 30 degree (86F) mark recently.  Camden Market feels like the heart of the sun.  My studio feels like that foundry at the end of Terminator 2!

My new Etsy shop is open… Les Pandas is the first item in there yay!

This Les Miserables (with pandas) style bas has been a best seller in Camden Market for over 3 years now and finally its come to etsy!

A short history of Les Pandas.

In 2010 when I first saw Les Mis in the Queens Theatre, I immediately fell in love with Victor Hugo’s story of courage and redemption and wanted to incorporate my affection into a new design.

decided to go the whole way and make Les Pandas a dedicated silk screen print.

My first job was to strip Les Pandas Down, colour wise.  I first experimented with 2 and 3 colours but found this made the image look garish so I

just went for simple one colour black and white.
